Timothy “Tim” Walker Hutchinson

July 6, 1956  –  October 9, 2025

Timothy Walker Hutchinson, lovingly known as Tim, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 69.

Born on July 6, 1956, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tim dedicated his life to his family, his work, and his faith in Jesus Christ, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, integrity, and commitment. As a teenager, Tim began working in the family business, Suburban Party & Tool Rental, at just 16 years old. After graduating high school in Sandy Springs, he attended the University of Alabama, where he proudly earned his business degree and became a lifelong Crimson Tide fan—rarely missing a game and cheering “Roll Tide” with pride for the rest of his life.

In 1978, Tim married the love of his life, Pam Hutchinson, beginning a 47-year journey of devotion and partnership. Together, they raised four children: Brittany, Ryan, Tommy, and Sam. Tim was a proud and loving father, father-in-law, and grandfather. He was thrilled with each new addition.

His greatest joy was his growing family, which came to include seven cherished grandchildren: Clarissa, Arabella, Corianna, Aidan, Taylor Jo, Jonathan, and Danielle. As a grandfather, Tim was playful, present, and endlessly supportive, building meaningful relationships and memories with each grandchild through his storytelling, sense of adventure, and unconditional love.

After college, Tim returned full-time to Suburban Rental, eventually becoming owner and proudly continuing the legacy his father began. He found great joy working alongside his children in the business, blending family and purpose while growing the company into a respected name in the event rental industry.

Outside of work, Tim was a talented woodworker, hiker, fisherman, and a master at the grill—hosting countless cookouts that brought family and friends together around good food, laughter, and shared stories. His presence made any gathering feel special.

A devoted member of Peachtree Corners Baptist Church, Tim lived out his faith with quiet strength and a servant’s heart, forming deep bonds within his church community. His kindness, humility, and steady presence touched everyone who knew him.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Chris Hutchinson, whose memory he honored throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved wife Pam, his children Brittany, Ryan (Elena), Tommy (Lisha), Sam, his seven grandchildren, five nieces and nephews and their families, and a wide circle of friends who were blessed to know him.

A service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary of Peachtree Corners Baptist Church, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. All are invited to a reception at the church after the burial, where all are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.

As we remember Tim Hutchinson, we celebrate a life of unwavering love and faithfulness—for his Savior and his family.. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
